War Memorial Hall Update 2
High Halden Village
Clubs and Organisations who use the hall
As the hall begins to reopen in line with the Government Roadmap several of our regular hall organisations are planning their return. COVID protocols will be in place in line with government guidelines to ensure the hall remains COVID safe and the users can return with confidence.
Click on the titles for a link to their webpages/sites. We are so lucky to have such a varied selection but it is vital that they are supported by our community.

Yoga4life Returning May 2021
Diane will be returning to hold two regular yoga classes in the Memorial hall, as allowed, from May. They are both lovely classes for mixed ability. The Monday 7.30pm – 9pm evening class is more challenging, and the Tuesday 10am – 11.30am class is less strenuous.
Students do have to bring their own yoga kit, for which Diane can give the link to purchase the kit that you need.
Please contact Diane on 07946629310 with any queries and to register your interest in any of the classes.
Wing Chun Self Defence Classes - returning May 20
On the 20th May at 7:30 pm our Wing Chun Self defence training will re-start. Wing Chun is a non-competitive, self-defence type of Kung Fu which was originally created for women. It does not rely on strength, and practitioners learn to automatically react when they are attacked. The training includes strategies for avoiding confrontation and what to do if you are obliged to defend yourself. Women and men of any age can learn this, and children above the age of 12 may also attend the classes provided they are accompanied by an adult member of the family. If you are interested, please join us for a trial class. This training will improve your awareness, coordination, and confidence. These classes are very social and good fun.
If you are interested in joining us, please call Chris Emmerson on 0736 8477 382 or e-mail [email protected]
